The Fingerprint Shop emerges from a love for creativity, storytelling, and the steampunk aesthetic. Steampunk represents a dwindling genre that merits greater appreciation than it currently receives. My fascination with crafting steampunk sculptures, and giving them complex stories began in childhood, and it made me ever sadder as I grew up and realized that I was a part of a very small group of people who shared this same passion. So, my aspiration for my creations is to make steampunk a bit easier for both dedicated fans and newcomers eager to explore the darkly enchanting world of steampunk.
The name of my shop reflects the unwavering aim that every piece you receive is handmade, uniquely tailored just for you by my own hands, with a dedicated story for each charm. My fingerprints lie beneath the resin-coated surface of each item.

What is steampunk?
Steampunk is a subgenre of retro futuristic science fiction and fantasy that envisions the 19th-century Victorian period or the American "Wild West" through the lens of advanced, steam-powered technology. It combines historical aesthetics with imaginative technology, showcasing airships, clockwork automata, and materials such as brass, copper, and leather.
When will I receive my charm?
All Finger Print Shop charms are made to order, which means that I will be making your charm once I receive your order! Please allow 5-10 business days for your jewelry to be made. This timing does not include shipping times. Please allow up to 2 weeks for shipping times in Canada.

What are your return and exchange policies?
Within 30 days after you have received your order, if you find that you are unsatisfied with your purchases, please contact me to let me know what issues you might be having with your order. Merchandise must be returned in the same condition as it was received and return shipping charges are non-refundable and are full responsibility of the customer. Refunds will be made for the price of the item, excluding shipping fees.

Where do you ship to?
Currently, I ship within Canada. However. that is in the process of changing soon, so stay tuned!
Why do you have different options for loops?
Nylon loops work better for use as phone charms. While faux leather cord function better on bags, wallets, and keys.
